Abstract: The article deals with political discourse from cross-cultural perspective. The author points out the importance of intercultural communication and argues that it consists in promoting and strengthening inter-ethnic and cross-cultural communication of people worldwide. The paper dwells on globalization, its advantages and disadvantages as well as its influence on people’s lives, emphasizing the role of intercultural communication in political discourse.
