Abstract: The present paper is an attempt to analyze legal discourse as an argumentative process. The author describes varieties of legal speech, reveals its features and defines legal discourse as a process of informative-practical interaction of law subjects. Possessing juridical knowledge and rhetoric skills provides organization of that discourse.
