The conference will be held on October 01-04, 2019 at Volgograd State University in Volgograd, Russian Federation.
The Conference will contribute to broaden the scientific knowledge and ideas on biodiversity conservation, assess and forecast the technospheric risks, implement the rational environmental management directions, develop the public territorial systems. Discussion of the processes of informatization and digitalization in ecological-geographical research with the involvement of leading scientific organizations will lead to the development of such new areas as precision farming, remote monitoring of forest and landscape fires based on the use of Earth remote sensing data, satellite positioning data, design and creation GIS.
Foreign scientists participation will allow to generalize a synthesis of domestic and international experience and become familiar with the level of development and application of modern environmental protection and monitoring technologies.
This scientific event is designed to fulfil the task of combining the scientific interests of students, graduate students, scientists and involving all interested parties in solving the urgent problems of modern science and society in order to increase the level of research activities in the Earth sciences.

Publication fee (for regular and virtual authors):

WoS issue - 190 EUR (by 1 September 2019), 250 EUR (in October 2019).

RSCI issue - 150 RUB per 1 page.
Payment of a registration fee is made after reviewing and accepting of your paper. Details of payment will be sent to you by e-mail after article acceptance.
To the oral participants
-
Only original and unpublished materials are accepted. Validation is done by several tools. The optimal originality in articles in English for a WoS issue is 90%. The originality of materials for translation is discussed with the organizing committee after checking for plagiarism. The publication will be refused if the publishing house reveals copyright fraud and attempts to hide plagiarism.

All submitted articles for the English-language journal will undergo a thorough double review by authoritative scientists and will be evaluated in terms of relevance, originality, quality of material and clarity of presentation.

At the request of the conference participant, the organizing committee can recommend places to stay.

Registration fee, travel expenses and accommodation are paid by the participant or the forwarding organization.

1. Natural and anthropogenic geosystems: monitoring environmental quality and assessing the ecological status of territories.
2. Geoinformation technologies, remote sensing and monitoring in ecological and geographical research, informatization and digitalization in ecological and geographical research, use of remote sensing data of the Earth, data from satellite positioning systems, design and creation of GIS.
3. Ecological safety of industrial, urban and agrosystems. Technological risks and emergencies, monitoring and forecasting the state of the environment.
4. Territorial protection of nature, landscape and biological diversity.
5. Socio-economic and economic-geographical research.
6. Ecological tourism and recreational use of nature.
7. Applied environmental studies in regional environmental management.
8. Actual technologies of environmental and geographical education. Appropriate educational standards. The system of science education.
